Caña Brava from Thomas P

Here is a strange form of ducking the sail through a maneuver.

The Caña Brava.

This is a flaker diablo, where there is no real reason for the duck apart from making a move more difficult and scoring more points.

So as always you need to center yourself over the center of the board and for the Flaker you need as much speed as possible down wind. It is best not to wait to long before you pop.

The rig movement must be as fast as possible to get the pop and the rotation.

With this duck maneuver it is very important to have you front hand right at the end of the boom as the plan is to have both hands on the boom.

Once you have both hands on the boom you try to hold on like this for as long as you can.
